About me...
Hello!
I am so excited to have joined the FACC faculty team last year. I know our 2016-2017 school year will be amazing, and I can't wait to meet all my new students! It is such an important time in our eighth grade students' lives, and I love that I get to be a part of their transition from middle to high school.
I think it is important to mention that I am also a Franklin parent and member of the PTO. My children were students during the inaugural year here at the Cooper City campus, and I am thrilled to be part of the Franklin Academy family. My daughter has moved on to high school, and my son is in second grade; I am so excited to be with him on campus every day.
I have my BA in Management, and I am currently enrolled in a graduate program to earn my Masters degree in secondary education. I came to Franklin with an extensive corporate background and diversified resume. The majority of my career has been spent managing large teams and working with exectuives of all levels. I have led teams in corporate training and education, learning and development, and conducted leadership coaching for department trainers. I spent the largest chunk of my recent career in Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management, HR, and Project/Program Management. I know what it takes to get hired out there in the real world, and I look forward to helping my students prepare for their first experience writing a resume and looking for a summer job.
During my children's first year at Franklin, I made it a point to become involved with the school as much as possible, and had an opportunity while working as an independent contractor to join the substitute pool. I was so impressed with our school, I made it my mission to secure a full time teaching position. It was one of the best decisions I have ever made! I couldn't be more grateful for this opportunity to work here, and I look forward to meeting all of you!
Sincerely,
Ms. Stutesman
